CONFERENCE INFORMATION

This 2024 NORA conference will take place September 19-22, 2024 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista South in Kissimmee, FL..  The conference will be live (no virtual attendance). Below, please find important information about registration for the Pre-Conference and General Conference.

Conference Fees

NORA offers only two options – Full Conference (Thursday-Sunday) for those who wish to attend the Clinical Skills Workshops or Friday-Sunday (for those who do not wish to attend the Clinical Skills workshops). Conference fees are determined by NORA membership status and what meeting sessions you are attending as noted in the conference pricing chart (click on the link below to view.  There are no discounts available for multiple professionals/Allied professionals attending from the same office/practice. 

Your registration form will automatically configure pricing depending on your status.  Early Bird pricing is ONLY available for members through Monday, May 27, 2024 and will automatically be applied to your final total.  On-site registration will be an additional $75.

All registrants must use a unique email address to register (i.e., the same email address may not be used more than once).

When registering multiple people with the same credit card, please allow at least 15 minutes between each transaction as the site will not allow the same card number to be used back-to-back.

How To Register 

CURRENT NORA MEMBERS - If you are a current NORA member you must log in prior to completing the registration form in order to receive member pricing. If already logged in please click here to proceed to the registration form. Early Bird pricing for the General Conference is automatically configured.

GRACED AND LAPSED NORA MEMBERS -   

Membership in NORA is based on a calendar year that runs from January 1 – December 31 annually.  Please note that dues are not pro-rated based on the date joined. It is our policy, however, that each person becoming a member in conjunction at or after the annual meeting (when held from September on) shall be considered as paying dues in advance of the coming calendar year.  

In order to receive member pricing for you must first renew your NORA membership.  You can click here to log in and renew your membership. If your NORA membership has Lapsed you must first rejoin as a new member in order to receive member pricing. Please note that you will receive separate invoices for membership and conference registration.

STUDENTS/RESIDENTS - NORA membership is free to students currently enrolled in a certified college of optometry, allied health profession, education, and rehabilitation program or in an optometric residency or a fellowship program. In order to receive the member discount for the conference, please make sure you are an active member.  If not, click here to join.

NORA COMMITTEE MEMBERS, TBI SURVIVORS, FRIENDS, OF NORA, RETIRED AND NON-ACTIVE -The NORA Conference is also open to those who fall in this category, which applies to volunteers on NORA committees (As identified by Committee chairpersons), families and /or survivors who are physically disabled, mentally incapacitated, or otherwise and those who have suffered a neurological insult as a result of traumatic brain injury, cerebrovascular accident, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, etc. as well as those persons who wish to support the activities and efforts of NORA but who do not qualify for any of the above membership categories. If you are a non-member your registration form will reflect non-member pricing.  To register as a non-member, click here. Payment Options

Payment may be made directly by credit card or check.  If paying by check, you will be notified where to send payment. We do not accept Pay Pal. On-site registration will be an additional $75.

Liability

NORA reserves the right to cancel the NORA 2024 Conference or any part of the meeting, due to unforeseen circumstances or to limit enrollments, should attendance exceed capacity. Costs incurred, such as airline or hotel penalties, are the responsibility of the individual.

Cancellation Policy

For good causes, attendees may cancel a registration upon written notice to NORA on or before August 15, 2024.  During this time, NORA will issue a refund minus five (5) percent of the registration fee.  If registration is cancelled anywhere from August 16 - September 5, 2024, NORA will issue a refund minus 15% of the registration fee.  Any cancellations made after September 6, 2024 will result in a refund of 50% of the registration fee.
