General Questions

When and where will the NORA 2025 conference be held?

The Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association, International (NORA) 2025 Conference will take place from September 18-21, 2025, at the Hilton Denver City Center in Denver, CO. The hotel link with discounted pricing of $229/night, will be included in your confirmation email. This will be an in-person event with no virtual attendance

Is any portion of the pre-conference held online?

For the first time in NORA’s history, there will be a pre-conference day dedicated to Clinical Skills 1 training, designed to help students from diverse backgrounds gain essential skills before the main event. This pre-conference day will feature three 2-hour increments of live Clinical Skills 1 training, providing a total of six hours of hands-on education ahead of the official start of the conference.

Looking ahead, in 2026, we plan to offer a similar pre-conference format for Clinical Skills II and III, ensuring continued opportunities for skill-building and preparation.

There are no group/practice discounts.  Each registration is unique.  If you are registering someone else in your practice to join NORA and/or attend the conference, please register under their name and their email address. It is OK if billed to the same credit card, but we need to capture each member/attendee's name and contact information individually.  When registering multiple people with the same credit card, please allow at least 15 minutes between each transaction as the site will not allow the same card number to be used back-to-back.

Can I register at the meeting?

Yes. You can pay by credit card, check, or cash at the meeting.  Please note, however, that there will be an additional $100 charge for on-site registration.

You will receive your badge upon on-site registration.

How will I receive verification of my attendance for my continuing education credits?

Attendees are responsible for obtaining their own proof of attendance for a course. The easiest method (for optometrists) is to download the OE Tracker app and scan the QR codes at the completion of each course. For non-optometrists or those who cannot access the app, you will be provided with an attendance certificate, and you are responsible for having this signed/stamped by an attendance monitor at the conclusion of the course. These attendance certificates must be submitted to ARBO (or your CE organization) at the conclusion of the meeting. NORA is not responsible for the submission of certificates or the replacement of lost certificates. NORA submits courses to ARBO for COPE approval. NORA does not submit courses to any other CE broker and does not guarantee that your licensing board or state will accept COPE-approved courses. Attendees are responsible for understanding the CE requirements for their state and/or licensing board.
