NORA Clinical Skills UKThe Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA), in collaboration with the British Association of Behavioural Optometrists (BABO), is pleased to offer Clinical Skills 1 and Clinical Skills 2 in London, UK. NORA's Clinical Skills curriculum is the educational foundation of the Fellowship in Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation (FNORA). Participants may take these courses for continuing education alone or apply them toward Fellowship requirements. Enrollment in the Fellowship program is not required before taking Clinical Skills and may be completed at a later date. Following the successful introduction of Clinical Skills UK in 2025, NORA has expanded the UK program to include both Clinical Skills 1 and Clinical Skills 2. Please note: Participants may register for only one Clinical Skills course per weekend. This allows adequate time to absorb and implement the material before progressing to the next level. Current NORA membership is required to attend Clinical Skills courses. Clinical Skills 1 OverviewClinical Skills 1A (Online) – 6 HoursClinical Skills 1A provides the scientific and clinical foundation for neuro-optometric rehabilitation. Through six one-hour prerecorded modules, participants will learn the principles of neurological vision dysfunction, patient evaluation, and interdisciplinary care. Each module concludes with a short knowledge assessment and may be completed at your own pace before attending the in-person course. Clinical Skills 1B November 14th (In Person) – 6 HoursClinical Skills 1B introduces participants to the practical application of neuro-optometric rehabilitation through demonstrations, case discussions, and hands-on learning. Attendees rotate through multiple instructional stations to develop foundational clinical skills in evaluation and intervention for patients with acquired neurological vision disorders. Clinical Skills 2 OverviewClinical Skills 2A (Online) – 6 HoursClinical Skills 2A builds upon the concepts introduced in Clinical Skills 1 and focuses on clinical reasoning, examination findings, treatment prioritization, and intervention selection. Participants learn how to recognize common neuro-optometric patterns and develop structured treatment plans using evidence-informed clinical decision making. Clinical Skills 2B November 15th (In Person) – 6 HoursClinical Skills 2B emphasizes hands-on application of examination techniques, treatment procedures, and interdisciplinary clinical integration. Through guided laboratories and patient-based problem solving, participants refine their clinical reasoning while gaining confidence implementing neuro-optometric rehabilitation strategies. FellowshipCompletion of Clinical Skills courses satisfies a portion of the educational requirements for Fellowship in Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation (FNORA).
